
3 cups sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp ground clove
4 eggs
3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2/3 cup water
2 tsp baking soda
1 (15 oz) can pumpkin puree
1 ½ tsp salt
2 tsp ground ginger
½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground allspice
1 cup chopped nuts, optional
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease or spray 9 X 5inch loaf pan or muffin pan or use decorative cardboard loaf pans. In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, oil, and eggs; beat well until smooth. Add water and beat again until blended. Stir in can of pumpkin, ginger, allspice, cinnamon, and clove. In a medium bowl, combine flour, soda, salt, and powder. Add dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture and blend until all ingredients are mixed well. Add nuts if desired and mix well. Divide mixture into prepared pans. Bake in preheated oven for about 45- 60 minutes. When toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean your bread is ready. Enjoy!!!!
